When an Interior Designer + Architect Get Hitched, It’s Bound to be Gorgeous

Lorene and Kenny are a totally cross cultural couple. Lorene is French but grew up in London and Kenny is half japanese/chinese language, and a British citizen who has lived over two decades in the united kingdom. They each now stay in Hong Kong.

Lorene has very fond memories of her youth and special holidays spent in Provence and Provence was an clean desire whilst it came to figuring out where the marriage could take place. Their wedding ceremony become a completely unique threat to accumulate every person in France, near in which Lorene’s circle of relatives is settled in Provence, and to make all their pals and families from abroad find out this specific part of the world, with its delicious meals and exquisite landscapes.

also, Bastide de Gordes is a completely widely recognized luxurious hotel inside the Luberon, but it is not a venue that hosts many weddings, so the couple felt that holding their wedding there might be even extra unique because it isn't some thing that has been seen and achieved lots of times before them. The venue is so appropriate in itself that it did now not need an awful lot to make it beautiful for the marriage, in fact we made certain to not over decorate it and to keep it natural for every person to experience its splendor.

Lorene and Kenny are architect and interior designers so materials are essential to them. Lorene desired to apply some cloth from Provence in some of the décor elements of the marriage, so we used stone from Gordes for the table names, which we had calligraphy on. For the ceremony arch, we used a hothouse arch, as there are lots of these inside the place and they offer an exciting width in comparison to standard garden arches, which worked terrific with the space.

The rite was a completely peaceful moment, punctuated via readings from close circle of relatives contributors and an olive tree rite, the olive tree symbolizing understanding & peace, hope, light, fertility, fitness & wealth in Provence.

the marriage venue is held on a cliff and on the other facet of that may be a small popular view point. at some point of rite we should see a own family of locals watching the event from afar and we heard them clap while the bride and groom kissed!

After dinner the celebration moved indoors for the dancing party. all the visitors collected every facet of the hallway leading to the ballroom with big sparklers for the couple to walk thru. The effect become magical.
